Why I’m Asking for Just $1 (The Story Behind Project Rebuild)

For 25 years, I’ve had a policy that I rarely talked about.
If someone came to me desperate to change their health—someone facing a diabetes diagnosis, mobility issues, or just complete burnout—but they truly couldn't afford coaching, I didn't turn them away.
I quietly discounted the rate. Often to zero.
I’d tell them, "This one’s on me," or "Let's just get you started."
I’ve purchased smart scales with my own money. I’ve paid for DEXA scans. I’ve covered entire coaching programs out of pocket. Not because I’m rich—far from it. But because I believe that health shouldn't be a luxury item.
I don’t run a generic business. I run a practice. And in a practice, you treat the person, not just the bank account.
But I Hit a Wall.
The reality is, I can’t do it all on my own anymore.
The need is too great. For every person I help pro bono, there are ten more waiting—people in our communities who are at rock bottom, ready to do the work, but lacking the tools.
That is why I launched Project Rebuild.
This isn't a charity. It’s a scholarship fund. It’s an investment in real people, real structure, and real results.

The "High Five" Strategy
When I decided to take this public, I didn't want to ask for huge donations. I wanted to build a movement.
That’s why the core of this campaign is The High Five ($1).
It might seem small, but $1 proves you’re with us. It’s a vote of confidence.
-
$25 (The Toolkit) puts a smart scale in a home that doesn't have one.
-
$55 (The Lifeline) funds a week of intensive coaching for someone in the danger zone.
-
$100 (The Blueprint) provides a full month of nutrition planning and accountability.

This is an Invitation.
If you have ever benefited from my advice, my newsletter, or just believe that everyone deserves a fighting chance at health, I’m asking you to join me.
I’m not asking you to save my business. I’m asking you to help me say "Yes" to the next person who calls me needing help.
